Original Hand Designs

• We create hundreds of original hand made 2D designs every month. These are made for customers' requests and for our own line of models, they can be viewed in our subscriber database BERMARKonline.
• Our 2D designs may be purchased as CAD files or models or molds, made to your specifications.

• We engineer hundreds of 3D CAD files every month: to fulfill customer orders, to add to our line of models, & for publishing in our subscriber database BERMARKonline.
• 3D CAD files from BERMARKonline may be purchased as they are or altered to your specifications.
• Our CAD files can be output 100% by RP machines. CNC users should know of the limitations of their machine & be aware that "side" or "underneath" details may not be able to be milled by your machine, so you may need to complete the output manually.
• Special orders for CAD files are welcomed , they can be delivered generally in 2-5 days.

CAD file purchasers should understand some things about CAD files and the machine they are using for output, for optimal use of our CAD files.

The standard file format for a CAD file to be output on any output machine, is called STL file. All machines come with software that takes STL files, then prepares them as needed for your machine.

The software for Solidscape machines “slices” the STL file into the micron accuracy you want (usually 25 or 38), changing the file into a SLC file, then it is ready to output. We give a time saving shortcut for Solidscape users - we provide SLC files sliced in 25 and 38 micron. Simply use the one of your choice and import it into your software using the import SLC function.

The software of the RP machines Evisiontec, DWS, Viper and Invisiontec “slices” STL files into the micron accuracy you want (usually 25 or 38), changing the file into a SLC file, and also builds “support” needed by the machine in order to output.

The software of CNC machines, such as Revo, Roland and Modelmaster, converts the STL file into the optimum output file and guides you to carve the design in the best way.

Note that because our main software at this time is JewelCAD the STL files created are slightly different to ones created by other softwares as they images of what will be output by your machine. Be assured that our STL files are verified, error-free and guaranteed. Please try our sample.

• Email us your images with specifications so we can understand what you want.
• After we receive your request we will send you a quotation, & request a 50% deposit. Once we have your deposit, we will do CAD files & send you images for approval. Once you have approved , the balance payment is due.
• For best delivery please ensure that you respond to our email. Often delays are incurred as we wait for responses to our questions.
• When we make CAD files from customer designs we give you the option of exclusive or non-exclusive. Exclusive means that the design belongs to the customer & Bermark will not use the design in any way. Non-exclusive means that the design submited may be used by Bermark as if it was their own. Non-exclusive is priced at 50% of exclusive. In our experience most customers want non-exclusive so we will assume non-exclusive unless you tell us exclusive. [make 2 check boxes - exclusive & non-exclusive, with the non-exclusive checked, if customer wanted exclusive he will change it to exclusive]

• For clients preferring molds to models we offer you the choice of molds at the same price as models.
• For clients wanting molds of the models they choose or order, they are available at an extra charge of $15 per mold for standard sized items. Large designs are charged at $25.
